Musha or warrior dolls usually seated on camp chairs or found standing, or riding horses comes dressed in Armor, helmets, and weapons are made of lacquered paper and also with metal accessories. The Japanese Dolls used during the Doll festival are the Hina dolls which have a pyramidal body of elaborate and multi-layered textiles stuffed with straw or wood blocks with carved wooden hands. In the category of Hina dolls, the Emperor and Empress pair is the most in demand.
